Some 50 people gathered at the Christian Heritage Centre, Rowley Regis, in February for the 2025 Spring Lecture. Stephen Ford spoke on the ministry of the little-known but inspirational John Palmer.
Palmer was born in 1768 and came to Shrewsbury in 1792 as a medical doctor. A year after his arrival, he found himself called to be pastor of the Baptist Chapel in Dog Lane, Shrewsbury.
