The world is not worse than it has ever been, but the challenges of today are certainly different from those 25 years ago.

Ineverwouldhavedreamed,eventhoughmychildrenwereborninthedaysoftheubiquitoushomecomputer,thatschoolchildrenwouldwalkaroundwithadevicethatwouldgivethemaccesstovirtuallyeverything(goodandbad)withouttheirparents’knowledge.Towatchvideocontent,mychildrenhadtogetpermissiontoputinaVCRtape.Totalktotheirfriends,theyhadtousethefamilyphoneorhaveMumdrivethemtoafriend’shouse. Nolongerarethesethingstrue–andmanyparentsarenowrightlyconcernedabouthowtheycancultivateandencouragegodlinessintheirchildreninthemidstofloud,24/7socialmediainanelectronicage.Thereisnodenyingit:socialmediainitsvariousformshastakenoveroursociety.Real,physicalfriendshipsarecastintothebackgroundas‘virtual’relationshipstakecentr
